Compress a PDF

Chat apps and email often reject a large PDF. Compress rewrites the file so it takes less space when that is possible.

If the PDF is already small, you get the same file back. The upload is deleted after the download.

Questions

Will the PDF always get smaller?

Only when there is spare space to remove. A file that is already compressed stays about the same size.

Does this lower the picture quality?

It keeps the pages readable and removes unused data. It does not rebuild the pages as new pictures.
